The WOW Project is here: See how you can join in on the fun

You’ve seen it in the halls. You’ve seen it in the cafeteria. You’ve even seen it in the bathroom— it’s The WOW Project!

The Wardrobe of Words is all about people caring more about how they say what they really want to say. Kids nowadays forget the intricacies of language, and the WOW Committee is dedicated to solving this problem. Members of the committee protest text-talk and overly simplified language; they demand that there be a change.

The WOW Project hopes to have culture change by doing multiple activities throughout the week. In the mornings, there will be free coffee in the nook from 6:45-7:20 a.m. and WOW Note sales. WOW Notes are simply little letters to give people around the school for 50¢ that are written with WOW Pens (and receivers get a WOW Bracelet!).

During lunch, there will be games, art competitions, and more WOW Note sale. In addition, there will be videos in the auditorium about language and the culture change needed.

It’s not a joke. The WOW Project is about more than just appreciating the value in words: it’s about necessary culture change. However, you don’t have to be a social activist or linguist to enjoy the activities, so participate in the fun. Have a good time during our unique, HEHS WOW Week!
