Social Studies club will travel beyond HEHS to learn history

Denise Morales, Staff Writer

The Social Studies Club is a great place to be if students want to interact with the world around them. Members of the club will have the opportunity to visit museums, local historical sites, as well as spend time visiting Medieval Times and watching movies.

There also will be fundraising opportunities. Sponsors Kim Ryon and Renee Johansson in the Social Studies Department also said the club is preparing an inauguration trip to Washington D.C. next year to meet the newly-elected president.

Students interested in being a part of this club should drop by room 76 every other Thursday immediately after school.
