Audiences who see this year’s fall play “Mimes and Zombies and Kittens – Oh My!” will walk away with an unforgettable experience filled with laughter and amusement.

The play opened November 8 and runs through November 10. The Hoffman Estates High School Theatre is presenting a unique play that is made up of three comedy stories: “Check Please!”, “10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse”, and “The Internet is Distrac- Oh Look A Kitten!”.

“The audience should expect to just have a good time and laugh,” said Andrew Luzwick, student director. “There has not been one rehearsal where I have watched the shows and not laughed or smiled. This is something new for a lot of us, and everyone has fun doing it.”

Cast members are excited to be participating in the show. In fact members, like Senior Alexis Hoffman, are “hyped. Absolutely hyped!”

The cast members have also shown extraordinary dedication to theatre: Hoffman has acted in the school’s plays since her freshman year; cast member Senior Shane Cloherty has acted during his Junior year as well; Luzwick says that he has “practically grown up on the stage.”

The hard work and commitment of the cast and staff of the play are indisputable.

You can watch “Mimes and Zombies and Kittens – Oh My!” Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
