“I love the thrill of wrestling,” said Euince Ji, senior.

When you are passionate about something, such as a sport like wrestling, you live for the feeling of success  and reaching your goal. The girls and boys wrestling teams are hard at work to meet that goal, frequently competing at meets throughout the season and doing their very best.

Out of all of the District 211 teams, Hoffman has one of the biggest teams for girls. They have been working very hard this winter to succeed. While spending so much time together, the girls have grown close and gotten to know each other very well, like one big family.

“Our team bond is unbreakable and we all love and care for each other,” said Lola Roberts, freshman.

Throughout this season, these athletes have been committed to wrestling and loyal to their team. HEHS wrestlers have placed at multiple meets. As the season comes to an end, these athletes plan to SOAR and finish strong.

“We all have our ups and downs but at the end of the day we are still a team and a family,” Roberts said.
