From being a star Varsity soccer player to a valuable lacrosse player, senior Henry Henning has become a talented athlete who has created a special bond with his teammates and coaches.
Throughout the years, Henning has put his unyielding devotion into his sports, whether it be practicing for hours, improving himself both on and off the field, or attending each and every game.
For Henning, soccer has had the most impact during his years at Hoffman: “I really value our sense of community and I love our bond so much. I always bring up the soccer team in the best way possible.”
But Henning couldn’t do it without any help. Coach Howson and Coach Canace have become a big part of Henning’s journey at Hoffman.
”I respect them a lot as they’ve always had my best interest at heart, always believed in me, and taught me valuable life lessons,” said Henning.
Henning has become a familiar face at Hoffman, recognized for his warmth, openness, and commitment.
“If I had three words to describe myself, I’d call myself friendly, a leader, and inclusive,” said Henning.
Through his dedication and spirit, Henning continues to leave a lasting impression on Hoffman’s community. He shares a final piece of advice that captures his positive and grounded outlook:
“Value every moment in high school, enjoy your life, and live in the moment.”
