From Marching Band and Speech to Badminton and Educators Rising, senior Hiba Ali keeps her afternoons filled with involvement and passion.
Beyond her activities, Ali spreads her pride for Hoffman by actively participating in spirit wear, which encourages other students to join in.
“Spirit is important at Hoffman because it builds a community, especially with your friends and even random students,” said Ali.
Hoping to become a high school teacher and attend UIUC, Ali credits her perseverance and dedication to her years in badminton.
“For me, Badminton has been the most impactful because I learned the importance of perseverance and commitment,” said Ali.
That same drive carries into everything Ali does, whether she’s practicing her latest speech into the evening, marching at every football game, or leading a powerful group activity.
Ali’s strong performance, work ethic, and enthusiasm have made her a valued member of Hoffman’s community.
