Over three nights, September 18th, 19th, and 20th, the auditorium was filled with excitement as students took the stage for the annual HEHS talent show. From singing to dancing, the event showcased the huge range of talent at our school.
“I wasn’t really nervous this year since I’ve performed in the show as a sophomore, junior, and now senior,” said Alexis Acuca, senior. “Instead, I was just excited. My band and I even ran laps in the hallway before going on stage because of the energy.”
Behind every act was hours of practice and dedication. Performers spent weeks rehearsing their songs and memorizing lines to make sure their moment on stage would be perfect. Their effort showed in every note and every move they brought to the stage.
The audience played just as important a role, cheering and applauding for every act. The HEHS Talent Show has become a tradition students look forward to each year.
“The talent show was really fun and exciting! My favorite performances were Gaia’s and Allyson’s, but honestly every performance was amazing,” said Subia Fatima, junior.
No matter the acts, this show always leaves behind memorable, unforgettable moments, whether it’s a jazz performance, an emotional song or the energy of the crowd.
From start to finish, the 2025 Talent Show proved that HEHS is full of talent worth performing and cheering for, and if you didn’t go this year, you definitely should attend next year.
