Fashion Club Q&A

Anbar Zaheed and Neha Patel, Staff Writers

Students from the Mario Tricoci Beauty School visited HEHS this month to offer some pampering, loads of styling. This is just one perk of being a part of fashion club. Participants were able to get their hair and nails done and have a relaxing treat after a long day of learning, while learning more about the fashion industry.

Kinga Rzezinowska (’16), a fashion enthusiast and fellow fashion club member, answered some questions to help people HEHS students better understand the advantages of being a part of the club.

Q- What makes fashion club, different from all of the other clubs?
A- Fashion club is different because we get to explore our creative side, and we’re a very closely knit club. Everybody is friends with each other, and it’s just a time where you can relax, and have fun with each other.

Q-Does fashion club help, if you wish to pursue a career in the fashion industry?
A- I guess, I always knew that I wanted to go into the fashion industry for some time now, and every year I come back, I realize it’s worth it. We get to have a say in what we create. For those who don’t know what they want to do in life, I think fashion club is a perfect opportunity to experience one of the many sides of fashion. The “Glam day with Mario Tricoci” event is one of the many learning experiences you get as a fashion club member.

Q- What else does fashion club have to offer, to people who are still curious?
A- This event was just a preview of what we will be doing throughout the year. There’s a big fashion show in May, where the ladies from the salon do our hair and makeup. It’s always fun to be glammed up after school, when everyone’s exhausted. Fashion club is an opportunity for you to learn more about your passion, while you get to indulge in a free manicure.
