So far this season, the HEHS Softball team has pushed themselves to go above and beyond.

Through hard work, tough practice, and collaboration, these players have grown and enhanced their game remarkably.

“I feel that I have grown a lot from tryouts,” said Alexandra Dyer, junior. “I wasn’t happy in the beginning with my hitting, but with more practices, I have gotten better.”

The girls on this team have learned that perseverance is key in improving the way they play, but another extremely important aspect of the game for them is the connection they’ve built with their fellow teammates.

“The girls on this team helped make my senior season fun and filled with laughs. I’m so happy to be apart of this team,” said Kaelyn Kramp, senior.

It’s clear that these players are truly passionate and dedicated to their sport, and the relationships they’ve built as a team will only help them go further.

“This season is particularly special because I had the honor to be a captain for the sport I love,” said Team Captain Bri Venegas, junior. “As a teammate, I’ve always loved being supportive and uplifting. Following the lead of my former captains, I aspire to be the best leader I can be.”

These girls continue to give each game and practice everything they’ve got.

With all the team effort they’ve put in and the bonds they’ve formed, the HEHS Softball team definitely has had an exciting season so far, and it’s only the beginning.
